Turkic World Days organised in Kastamonu started with a cortege march
Organised by Kastamonu Municipality, Turkic World Days started with a cortege march.
Participants from Turkey and 23 countries and autonomous regions gathered in Kışla Park, waved the flags of their countries and marched to the Municipality Square singing anthems.
Participants from different countries and autonomous regions participated in the programme with their country-specific clothes.
Rahmi Galip Vidinlioğlu, Mayor of Kastamonu Municipality, in his speech here, emphasised that they organised the Turkish World Days in a much more comprehensive way this year and said, "Every year we will build on it and hopefully we will be able to hold the great Turan Congress here. We were always saying, ‘May our existence be a gift to the Turkish existence’. Thank God, we continue to move forward on that path."
Vidinlioğlu thanked the participants from different parts of the world.
At the end of the programme, the participants sang songs and presented stage performances.
Turkish World Days will continue until 11 June.
