At the age of 56, a funeral was held for the famous Irish singer Sinead O’Connor, who died. Thousands of fans gathered in the town of Bray, where the singer’s former home is located, said goodbye to the artist.
The Irish singer, who took the name Şüheda Davitt after announcing that she was Muslim, gained worldwide fame in the 90s with the song "Nothing Compares 2 U". In addition to her solo albums, Davitt, who made her name known with charity concerts, has released 10 albums to date.
Davitt announced that he became a Muslim in 2018 and said, "I am proud to be a Muslim. This is a conclusion that every intelligent theologian would naturally come to. All scriptures lead us to Islam. Islam makes all other holy books unnecessary."
The Irish singer stated that he would take a new name after becoming a Muslim and would henceforth use the name "Shuheda Davitt".
