President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio in New Delhi, the capital of India, where he arrived for the G-20 Leaders Summit.

Prime Minister Fumio was welcomed by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at the entrance of the hotel where President Erdoğan was staying.
In addition to Fidan, Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek, Director of National Intelligence Organisation İbrahim Kalın, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, Presidential Chief Advisors Ambassador Akif Çağatay Kılıç and Zafer Çubukçu were also present at the reception, which was closed to the press.
