Jordan sends humanitarian aid aircraft for the Gaza Strip
Jordan announced that it sent a humanitarian aid plane to Egypt for the Gaza Strip, which is under full blockade and intensive attacks by Israel.
In a written statement made by the Hashemite Charity Organisation, it was stated that the plane carrying mostly medicines and medical supplies was sent to Gaza with the instruction of King Abdullah II of Jordan and the cooperation of the armed forces.
It was also stated that the plane was sent under the coordination of Egypt, "The plane will first go to Egypt and will be delivered to the health authorities in Gaza through the Rafah Border Gate."
King Abdullah II announced on 10 October that his country would provide emergency aid to the Gaza Strip via Egypt.
